Das Gewölbe hat jetzt auch einen Tumblr und schreibt tolle Texte. Das freut uns sehr. Morgen spielt Gold Panda beim Ghostly International presents Abend in Kölns wiedereröffnetem elektronischen Wohnzimmer.

Abgrundtief sympathische Musik kommt von Gold Panda, den das Gewölbe höchsterfreulicherweise für den c/o pop-Eröffnungsabend am Mittwoch, den 22.06., gewinnen konnte. Drum anbei das in Abiball-Nostalgie getauchte Video zum Frühwerk “Quitters Raga”:

Ursprünglich als inzwischen rare 7” in Miniauflage erschienen, wurde dieses Sampledelia-Kleinod inzwischen auch auf Ghostly International wiederveröffentlicht, die somit ihrem Artist Roster eine weitere Ikone zeitgenößischen Off-Pops hinzufügen konnten. c/o pop has been taking place anually in Cologne since 2004. The programme of the festival is dedicated to contemporary pop culture in all its variety. Parallel to the festival, c/o pop hosts a business forum known as the c/o pop Convention which is directed to professionals from the creative industries. The convention focusses on networking between the different creative industries. Another major c/o pop project is »Europareise«, a network of 70 festivals which helps to connect the festival scene from Europe and beyond. 2010 c/o pop saw over 30,000 visitors and 1,200 professionals from 30 countries.
